The Journal of Architecture (JOA) (ISSN 2249 –9326) is a bi-annual peer reviewed journal dedicated to research and analysis in architecture profession, especially focused on education and pedagogy. The annual journal included the faculty research done under the CCA research cell’s sponsorship along with the research articles by the faculty and students of the all other architecture and allied design schools of national and international repute.

This journal will serve as a reference document for architects, design educators and other people who are interested in architecture as academic discipline as well as professional pursuit.

It focuses on three major areas:

1  Architecture as a product or artefact – History and theory, and materials and technology

2 Perspective or context on architecture – Natural environment, sustainable architecture, urban environment, etc.

3 The methodology of the architecture – Design methodology/process, architectural education; architecture profession/practice, the social implication of architecture
